【市指定：史跡】西銘御嶽

〔にすみうたき〕

増原集落の西北方およそ１ｋｍほどの丘陵上にあって、北方は要害堅固な断崖で海に面し、さらに西方は白川浜へと通じている。崖下に“サガイ井”、さらに下って海よりに“カナギ井”と俗称する二つの井戸がある。御嶽のまわりに城壁とみなされる石垣の跡をみることもできるが、全体の規模ははっきりしない。
ただし、周辺には畑地をふくめて青磁片・南蛮陶片が広範囲に表採でき、井戸の所在等からして、かつての集落の跡を物語っている。なお郷土史家稲村賢敷氏は、西銘按司の居城地は始め、この西銘御嶽の地であったが、手ぜまなためのちに飛鳥御嶽の地に移ったものであろうとの説をたてている。

【Designated by the City：Historic Site】Nisumi Utaki Sacred Site

Located at the hilltop about 1km northwest of the Masubari settlement, the Utaki is strongly fortified with a sheer cliff to the north, facing the ocean, and leading to the Shirakawa-Hama to the west. There are two water wells nearby, the Sagai-I, at the bottom of the cliff, and another, the Kanagi-i, towards the ocean. There are remains of a stone wall around the Utaki that appears to be a castle wall, but the scale of the whole thing is unclear.
However, from a wide area in the surroundings, including the farm fields, there have been findings of celadon and Southeast Asian pottery pieces, and taking into consideration of the location of the wells and other factors, it suggests that the area was once home to a settlement. According to the local historian, Kenpu Inamura, the Nisume Utaki was the fortress of the chieftain, Nisume-aji, but because the location was too small, the chieftain later moved to where the Tobitori Utaki sacred site is.

【市指定：史跡】西銘御嶽

位於距離增原村落西北方大約1公里的丘陵上，北邊是面朝大海，地勢險要的斷崖絕壁，西邊則是通向白川濱。山崖下有個「薩伽伊井」，再往下靠近海的地方有個「卡拿基井」。
御嶽的周圍可以見到貌似城牆的石牆殘跡，但整個規模不是很清楚。
不過，從周圍的地面包括田地在內，可以廣泛採集到青磁片和南蠻陶片，以及水井的所在地，通過這些文物可以推斷這裡是村落的遺跡。鄉土史家稻村賢敷氏發表了他的看法：西銘按司所居住的城堡原本是在這個西銘御嶽，但是，後來由於變得狹小，就搬遷到了飛鳥御嶽。

【미야코지마시 지정：사적】니스미 우타키

마스바리 마을의 서북쪽 약1km정도의 구릉지역에 있으며, 북쪽은 견고한 절벽으로 바다에 접하고 있으며 서쪽은 시라카와하마로 이어진다. 절벽 밑에 “사카이가” 우물이 있고, 좀더 아랫쪽으로 가면 “가나기가”라고 불리는 우물이 있다. 우타키 주위에서 성벽으로 보이는 돌담 흔적을 엿볼 수 있으나, 전체 규모는 분명하지 않다.
다만 주변에서 밭을 포함하여 청자 조각을 광 범위하게 채취할 수 있다. 우물의 소재 등을 미루어 옛 마을의 흔적을 느낄 수 있다. 향토 사가인 이나무라 겐푸 씨는, 니스메 아지의 성이 있는 장소는, 처음에는 니스메 우타키의 땅이었으나, 비좁았기 때문에 훗날 도비토리 우타키 땅으로 옮겨졌을 것이라고 말한다.
