【市指定：天然記念物・植物】前山御嶽の植物群落

〔まえやまうたきのしょくぶつぐんらく〕

この植物群落は与那覇集落の南西約500ｍにあり、一帯は新世代第四紀洪積世の琉球石灰岩からなり、フクギを主とする植物群落である。フクギが植えられたのは300．400年前だと考えられる。
群落内には直径約１ｍの大木がいくつかあり、ガジュマル・センダンなども見られ草本層は余り発達していない。前山御嶽には古くから旧暦の３月と８月、11月に”七日籠り”が行われ、与那覇部落の氏子たちが豊年祈願と厄除けの祈りを捧げている。

The plant community is located 500 meters southwest of the Yonaha community. The soil is made of Ryukyu limestone formed during the Quaternary Pleistocene. The community mainly consists of the common garcinia considered to have been planted 300-400 years ago.
There are some giant trees measuring one meter across their trunks, such as banyan and chinaberry trees. However, herbaceous layers are relatively poor. At Maeyama Utaki, there is a tradition of “seven-day seclusion” conducted in March, August and November of the lunar calendar, and the people under the protection of the local tutelary deity offer prayers for a good harvest and protection from evil.

【市指定：天然紀念物（植物）】前山御嶽的植物群落

這個植物群落位於距離與那霸村落西南方約500公尺處，附近一帶由新生代第四紀洪積時代的琉球石灰岩構成，是以福木為主的植物群落。據說，這些福木種植於300～400年前。
群落內有幾棵直徑約1公尺的大樹，另外，還有榕樹、旃檀等樹木，草本層不是很發達。前山御嶽自古以來，在舊曆的3月、8月和11月進行「閉關七日」，屆時與那霸村落的祖神子孫們會舉行祈求豐年和消災的儀式。

【미야코지마시 지정：천연 기념물 (식물)】마에야마 우타키의 식물 군락

이 식물 군락은 요나하 마을 남서 방향 약 500m에 있으며, 그 일대는 신세대 제4시 홍적세新世代第四紀洪積世의 류큐석회암으로 되어 있다. 후쿠기(클루시아과)가 주된 식물이다. 후쿠기를 심은 것은300-400년 전으로 추정된다. 군락 내에는 직경이 약 1m나 되는 큰 나무가 몇 그루 있다. 가쥬마루(뽕나무과), 멀구슬나무 등도 볼 수 있고, 초본층 등은 그다지 발달하지 않았다. 마에야마 우타키는 옛부터 음력 3월과 8월, 11월에 “7일간 머무름”을 진행한다. 요나하 마을의 우타키에 관계하는 사람들이 풍년기원과 액땜 기도를 올리고 있다.
